Interactive Dream Workshop

In psychoanalysis, dreams play an essential role in the work of accessing the unconscious. Rather than simply teach the theory and techniques used to work with dreams in a session, this workshop led by Nicole Shieh, LMFT, is both experimental and experiential, an attempt to learn through doing. It's for anyone who is interested in their dreams, and open to working with them in a collaborative group context.

You are invited to bring your own dreams to share with the group for exploration (with the time, we'll likely be able to dive into 2 or 3 dreams). The aim is not to "analyze" each other's dreams in a directly therapeutic way, but to be creative and playful with the material, and generate a variety of thoughts and associations in response to the dream. Feel free to bring a dream journal or write some dreams down before the meeting. The hope is that we learn how to use dreams to relate to each other in new and interesting ways. This group is limited to 6 people, but more of these workshops may be available in the future.
