The Trainee Case Conference had a great start and we are looking forward to our first trainee presentation of the year!

Join us as we continue the 2025–26 Training Case Conference series—an interdisciplinary forum for clinicians-in-training from all mental health fields (psychology, psychiatry, social work, MFT, counseling, and related disciplines). No matter where you are in the trajectory of your training, or your familiarity with psychodynamic therapy, we encourage you to come and explore the process with us.

These meetings provide a supportive and stimulating environment for the discussion of psychodynamic process, theory, and living the life of a practitioner through the lens of presented clinical material and process notes. Our aim is to deepen clinical understanding, explore diverse theoretical perspectives, and foster community among trainees engaged in analytic work.

We have our first student presenter of the year and we look forward to learning and growing together through exploring this dynamic material.

Please spread the word to interested parties, there is no requirement to be an existing SPS member to participate. You simply have to consider yourself a trainee and be open minded to a processes where we are all students of the mind.
